Team

YerAna is led by its two founders, who have known each other since 2000. The work divides between them: one makes the projects exist; the other finds the partners, the places and the people for the next ones.

Efe Atlı

Founder

Project leadership and systems integration; certified Passive House designer and permaculture designer.

Efe leads YerAna's projects from the first brief to handover. On Atlı House he was project lead, hands-on in every design and construction decision. He worked alongside Studio Mada, Cihan Çelik, Monta and the engineers to bring each discipline together into one system. YerAna developed, implemented and now operates the site's permaculture design, siting, water, energy and waste systems.

He studied shipbuilding and marine engineering at Istanbul Technical University. It's a discipline built around closed systems, where energy, water and waste have nowhere else to go. He worked in logistics for a metals trading company before turning to sustainable food systems in 2019. That path ran from insect farming to aquaponics to permaculture, and it's what became YerAna. He is a trained chef, holds a Permaculture Design Certificate and is a certified Passive House designer.

Sarper Çelenk

Co-founder

Brand, partnerships and business development.

Sarper leads YerAna's growth: brand, partnerships, business development and the project management of partner-facing work. He carries what Atlı House has shown to the people and places behind the next projects.

He studied economics at Boğaziçi University and has spent his career opening markets and building partnerships across technology, trade and food. He has worked at every scale, from building sales and partner channels from scratch at two startups, one of which was in the smart buildings field, to running partner channel marketing at Microsoft. As a consultant, he has managed trade projects involving many stakeholders across Türkiye, Europe, the US and Central Africa. Since 2018 he has been founding president of Kozahan Imports (Vegas Food Project), a US company trading between Türkiye and the United States.

Atlı House was designed and built with Studio Mada, Cihan Çelik, Monta, Enar, Cem Şenyuva, Hellenic PHI and Halton. Full project credits
